Fees are QAR 100 per participant. To participate, students aged 11-14 may review the issues on the agenda in each of our 12 SDG committees, which can be found on our website http://msmun.thimunqatarpress.org/issues-on-the-agenda-2020/and select the committee with the issues that they want to work with!
Students can then sign up to their selected committee through our registration portal by March 20th 2021 https://cvent.me/wQyeqQ
Service Activities will run from 2:30-5:00pm on Saturday 26th March 2021
Registered Delegates will have the opportunity to take debate to action on Saturday 27th by participating in service activities that reflect the SDG of their committee.
- SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Under Water), SDG 15 (Life On Land) Environmental- promoting ecoschools, recycling plan and community engagement program.
- SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) – work with Qatar Charity to create custom boxes for vulnerable groups within Qatar
- SDG 4 (Quality Education) + SDG 5 (Gender Equality) – Peer mentoring with vulnerable students, team teaching.
- SDG 10 (Reducing Inequalities) + SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) + SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions)- How to pursue justice through the legal system
